“I was eating a sandwich while playing my ticket, and my heart started pumping when I realized I won big,” he shared while at the OLG Prize Centre in Toronto to pick up his windfall. “It was crazy! It all felt like such a blur.”

Carpino called his friend to share the incredible news. “At first, he thought something bad happened because of the way I was screaming,” he recalled with a chuckle. “It was the happiest day of my life. I feel so much joy right now!”

Looking ahead, he plans to save a portion of his winnings and invest.
