Toronto, ON – Wilfrid Morency of Oakville can “find his possible” after winning the $5 million LOTTO 6/49 Classic Jackpot on June 11, 2025.

Now, the father of one and grandfather of two is delighted to share the story of his first big win.

The day after the draw, Wilfrid was enjoying his morning coffee when he decided to check the winning numbers. As he scanned the results, he could hardly believe his eyes — he’d matched all six main Classic Draw numbers to win a $5 million prize!

“When I realized I’d won $5 million, my mind went blank,” he recalled, while visiting the OLG Prize Centre in Toronto to collect his windfall. “I took a couple of pictures, just to be sure.”

Wilfrid went over to his partner, showed her the winning ticket, and shared his plan to buy a new electric car. “She was very happy and excited,” he said with a smile.

Later on, Wilfrid called his son and grandchildren to reveal the astonishing news. “They were all thrilled for me,” he beamed.

When asked what it’s like to become a multi-millionaire in the blink of an eye, Wilfrid said, “It feels great, but it takes some time for it to sink in. Maybe it’ll feel more real when I see the money in my bank account.”

In addition to purchasing a new car, Wilfrid plans to invest for the future and enjoy a well-deserved vacation.
