HAMILTON RESIDENT WINS $1,000 A WEEK FOR LIFE WITH INSTANT CASH FOR LIFE
TORONTO, ON – The possibilities are endless for Stephen Curran of Hamilton after winning $1,000 a week for life with INSTANT CASH FOR LIFE (Game #1182). Stephen opted for the lump sum prize of $675,000.
Stephen, who works in sales, has been a loyal player of CASH FOR LIFE since the game was introduced. “I’ve always loved the idea of CASH FOR LIFE and the dream of winning the big prize,” he said. Now, that dream has become a reality, as he’s celebrating his first big win, courtesy of the classic INSTANT game!
“I selected the ticket I wanted from the display case at the store, and it turned out to be a winning choice,” Stephen shared, while visiting the OLG Prize Centre in Toronto to collect his windfall.
Stephen let his ticket sit untouched at home for a few days before he decided to play it. “After playing my ticket, I scanned it using the OLG app. I saw the ‘Big Winner’ message on the screen and started thinking, ‘OMG …OMG!’ I always hoped and dreamed I’d see those three LIFE symbols in the same box. When it happened, it was unbelievable!”
Brimming with joy, Stephen took a photo of the winning ticket and texted it to his partner, asking her to take a look. “When I called her, she wasn’t sure it was legitimate. In fact, she still isn’t,” he said with a chuckle.
Still soaking in the thrill of his big win, Stephen said, “It’s just awesome. I feel so special — like a superstar! I’m very grateful this prize came my way. What an incredible gift.”
Stephen plans to share his winnings with his partner and invest. “My partner is the real lottery win for me,” he said, smiling. “This prize is a bonus for both of us. It will accelerate our retirement plans and allow us to create a fun and exciting future together.”

The winning ticket was purchased at Shoppers Drug Mart on Golf Links Road in Ancaster.
