TORONTO, ON – Saying “yes” to ENCORE paid off for Mark Keltika of Harrow. He matched all seven ENCORE numbers in exact order in the June 14, 2025 LOTTO 6/49 draw to win $1 million!

Mark, an electrician, has been buying lottery tickets with OLG since he was old enough to do so. An occasional player, his game of choice is LOTTO 6/49. Mark uses OLG’s Quick Pick feature to make his selections and likes to add ENCORE to his tickets. The married father of four is now thrilled to share the story of his first big win!

“It was the morning of Father’s Day when I checked my ticket at the breakfast table, and boom — I couldn’t believe it! The most I’d ever won before was $50,” he recalled, while visiting the OLG Prize Centre in Toronto to claim his windfall. “My wife was making breakfast behind me at the time, and she was in disbelief as well!’

Mark shared the incredible news with several family members. “Nobody believed me at first,” he said with a laugh. “They thought I was pulling their chain. I am a bit of a jokester, after all.”

With his winnings, Mark plans to take care of his finances, enjoy a mortgage-free life, and prepare for a comfortable retirement.

A family man through and through, Mark hasn’t made a single plan without his loved ones in mind.  “We already had an upcoming vacation to Disney booked, and now we’re planning to fly there! Maybe we’ll buy a pool as well,” he said, smiling.

When asked to describe the experience of winning big, Mark said, “It’s awesome! I’m the only lottery player in the family…at the moment. My family members used to poke fun at me, saying, ‘You’re never going to win big.’ They’re not going to tease me anymore!” he chuckled. “Winning is a really good feeling.”
