GEORGETOWN RESIDENT WINS $1 MILLION IN LOTTO 6/49 GOLD BALL DRAW
Toronto, ON – Innoccenzo Armata of Georgetown can “find his possible” after winning a LOTTO 6/49 prize worth $1 million in the Gold Ball Draw on May 10, 2025.
Innoccenzo, an accountant, has been playing the lottery with OLG for decades. He enjoys a variety of games, including LOTTO 6/49, LOTTO MAX, ONTARIO 49, and DAILY GRAND. A weekly player, Innoccenzo chooses his own numbers and likes to replay the same set. Now, the father of two is delighted to share the story of his first big win.
“I bought this ticket at my usual store, as part of my weekly routine,” he shared, while visiting the OLG Prize Centre in Toronto to claim his windfall.
The day after the draw, Innoccenzo checked his ticket using the OLG app on his phone and discovered he’d won big. “I scanned my ticket and saw the prize amount appear on the screen. I was so excited but surprisingly calm at the same time.”
Innoccenzo went over to his wife and showed her the winning amount on his phone screen. “At first, she was in disbelief, but when she realized it was real, she was thrilled,” he said with a smile.
With his winnings, Innoccenzo plans to pay off bills, invest, and save for future vacations. He’s also considering some renovations.
“Being a winner has brought me so much joy and peace of mind. My wife and I are both very happy,” he concluded.
LOTTO 6/49 offers players a chance to win two multi-million dollar jackpots every Wednesday and Saturday, for the same $3 per play.

The winning ticket was purchased at George’s Convenience on Mississauga Road in Brampton.
