The father of two and grandfather of four is delighted to share how an email led him to discover his first big win and the thrill of becoming a millionaire!

“It was a regular Sunday morning when I decided to check my emails,” Scott recalled, while visiting the OLG Prize Centre in Toronto to pick up his winnings. “I saw an email confirming that  I’d won a prize. I’d never received anything like it before, so I logged into my OLG.ca account and there it was—$1 million!”

“I was incredibly excited,” Scott smiled. “My wife was still sleeping, so I leaned over and whispered, ‘Honey! I just won $1 million!’ In disbelief, she jumped out of bed. When she realized it was true, she was just as thrilled as I was. My wife and I are planning a huge Family Day get-together where we’ll share the news with our loved ones.”

“It’s hard to wrap your head around winning a prize like this,” said Scott. “Never in a million years did I think I’d be able to say I’m a millionaire! I’m so thankful and feel incredibly blessed.”

With his windfall, Scott plans to pay some bills and take his wife on an Alaskan cruise, something he and his wife have always dreamed of doing.

“Winning feels like falling in love; it’s a feeling like no other,” Scott concluded.
