TORONTO, ON – Saying “yes” to ENCORE paid off for William and Cindy Beaulieu of Milton, and Marc Duperrouzel of Brampton. They matched all seven ENCORE numbers in exact order in the November 16, 2024 LOTTO 6/49 draw to win $1 million!

William, Cindy, and Marc have been playing the lottery together for about six years. While they purchase some tickets individually, it was their group LOTTO 6/49 ticket that led to their big win!

“I took our ticket to the store to have it validated, and was surprised to discover we won $1 million,” said William, while he, Cindy, and Marc visited the OLG Prize Centre in Toronto to pick up their winnings. “I didn’t believe it at first,” added Marc.

Since discovering their win, the group has kept the news under wraps. They shared that winning comes with a sense of relief and astonishment. “It’s unbelievable! We couldn’t have imagined this would happen to us,” said Cindy.

With their windfall, the group plans to pay some bills.

ENCORE offers 22 ways to win and can be played in conjunction with most lottery games for an extra $1. There are two ENCORE draws every day.

The winning ticket was purchased at Circle K on Bronte Street South in Milton.
