Toronto, ON – Sharon Gillan of Hamilton can realize her dreams after winning a $333,333.40 MAXMILLIONS prize in the December 3, 2024 LOTTO MAX draw.

Sharon, who works in the shipping and receiving industry, has been playing the lottery with OLG weekly for 10 years. She enjoys playing LOTTO MAX, LOTTO 6/49, and ONTARIO 49, using OLG’s Quick Pick feature to choose her numbers. Sharon is thrilled to reveal the news of her first big win!

“I was heading into work, and before I got out of my car, I decided to check my LOTTO MAX ticket on the OLG app,” Sharon recounted, while visiting the OLG Prize Centre in Toronto to pick up her winnings. “At first, I thought I’d won $333 and had a giggle at the amount, but then I realized there were more threes! I had to take a moment to catch my breath. It was hard to believe I’d won!”

“I was ecstatic as I shared the news with my coworkers. They were so happy for me,” Sharon smiled. “I hope I can do this again someday!”

With her windfall, Sharon plans to invest. She may also celebrate by taking a trip to New Zealand.

LOTTO MAX players in Ontario have won over $8.9 billion since 2009, including 111 jackpot wins and 937 MAXMILLIONS prizes, right across the province. LOTTO MAX is $5 per play and draws take place on Tuesdays and Fridays.

The winning ticket was purchased at Pioneer/Snack Express on Mohawk Road West in Hamilton.
