Leila has been playing the lottery with OLG for nearly 40 years, picking up her LOTTO MAX and LOTTO 6/49 tickets each week. She plays a combination of Quick Picks and numbers that correlate to special family birthdays. Now, she is celebrating her first big win and the thrill of becoming a millionaire!

“I went to the store to check my tickets. When it was confirmed that I’d won $1 million, I was left shocked and speechless,” Leila recalled, while visiting the OLG Prize Centre in Toronto to claim her winnings. “When I came to my senses, I couldn’t hold back my tears. I only shared the news with my son and my sister. My sister was over the moon for me, saying, ‘This couldn’t have happened to a better person.’”

“Winning is a great feeling, but it’s hard to explain,” Leila smiled. “I always believed I’d win, and now the time has finally come,” she concluded.

With her windfall, Leila plans to travel and enjoy a comfortable life with her family.
