KESWICK RESIDENT CELEBRATING $357,982 LOTTARIO JACKPOT WIN
TORONTO, ON – Neil Carter of Keswick won “Ontario’s jackpot” – $357,982.50 in the October 5, 2024 LOTTARIO draw.
Neil, a retiree, is ecstatic to share the news of his biggest lottery win to date! Eight years ago, the father of three won $15,000 on an INSTANT SCRABBLE ticket, but nothing could have prepared him for the thrill of winning the LOTTARIO jackpot.
“I was at home when I decided to check my ticket on the OLG app,” said Neil, while visiting the OLG Prize Centre in Toronto to claim his winnings. “I must have scanned my ticket seven times to make sure I wasn’t seeing things! I was in pure disbelief. I shared the news with close family, and everyone was beyond thrilled for me.”
“This win is still hard to believe. It came as a shock—a great shock! I’m so happy and grateful,” Neil beamed. “I can’t stop smiling!”
Neil plans to share his winnings with his children and grandchildren, as well as save for a new home.
LOTTARIO launched in 1978 as Ontario’s first terminal lotto game. Tickets are $1 and the draws take place every Saturday. Tickets purchased before 11:59 p.m. on Fridays are eligible for the Early Bird draw. Visit the LOTTARIO page on OLG.ca for more information.
The winning ticket was purchased at Pinky’s Variety on Woodbine Avenue in Keswick.
