Toronto, ON – David Forrest of Horton can realize his dreams after winning a $333,333.40 MAXMILLIONS prize in the August 13, 2024 LOTTO MAX draw.

David, a school bus driver, has been playing the lottery with OLG since the days of WINTARIO. He enjoys playing LOTTO MAX and LOTTO 6/49, using OLG’s Quick Pick feature to make his selections. He is now celebrating his first big win!

“I was enjoying a morning coffee with my wife, when I decided to check my ticket on the OLG app,” David recalled, while visiting the OLG Prize Centre in Toronto to pick up his winnings. “I said, ‘Oh look! I won $333 and 333 cents.’ I quickly realized that couldn’t be right. My wife took the phone and said, ‘You won $333,333!’ We stared at each other in disbelief. We were so shocked!”

“No matter who I told, everyone was so happy for me. People would say, “It couldn’t have happened to a better guy,’” David smiled. “It just doesn’t feel real quite yet. It feels great and surreal.”

With his winnings, David plans to travel, invest and share with his family.

LOTTO MAX players in Ontario have won over $8 billion since 2009, including 106 jackpot wins and 905 MAXMILLIONS prizes, right across the province. LOTTO MAX is $5 per play and draws take place on Tuesdays and Fridays.

The winning ticket was purchased at Circle K on Raglan Street in Renfrew.
