Toronto, ON – Esther Tin Thangbal of Kitchener can “find her possible” after winning a LOTTO 6/49 prize worth $1 million in the Gold Ball Draw on December 6, 2023.

Esther, a wife and mother, has been playing the lottery with OLG for the past two years. She enjoys playing LOTTO 6/49, as well as LOTTO MAX and ONTARIO 49. Today she is celebrating her first big win!

“I bought my ticket quite a while ago! I set it to the side and forgot about it for a few months,” said Esther, when visiting the OLG Prize Centre in Toronto to pick up her winnings. “I happened to see the ticket in my purse and remembered I had yet to check it. When I realized it was a winner, I had some mixed emotions. This win came at a special time, and I didn’t know how to feel. I shared the news with my husband, and he had a similar reaction. It was definitely a shock!”

With her windfall, Esther plans to pay some bills, donate to medical research, and share with family.
