Toronto, ON – A group of three from Waterloo Region can “find their possible” after winning a LOTTO 6/49 prize worth $1 million in the Gold Ball Draw on March 23, 2024.

The group members are:

Bruce Seip of Kitchener

Gary Collins of Waterloo

Robert McKittrick of Waterloo

The group of three, who are now retired, have been playing the lottery together for 42 years. "I checked the ticket and had to wait for the others to wake up to share the news," shared Bruce while at the OLG Prize Centre to collect their winnings. "It's about time we won!"

"It's great news to wake up to at 6am," said Gary. "It's a nice surprise," added Robert.

The group members said they're families were very happy when they shared the news about the big win.

"It's a nice feeling and perfect for retirement," Robert concluded.

LOTTO 6/49 offers players a chance to win two multi-million dollar jackpots every Wednesday and Saturday, for the same $3 per play.

The winning ticket was purchased at Sobeys on Ira Needles Boulevard in Kitchener.
