Jaspreet, who works in retail, says she's been a regular lottery player for about 10 years and loves to try different games. She purchased her ticket while at the store to get a drink. "I forgot about the ticket for a few weeks before I played it," she shared while at the OLG Prize Centre in Toronto to pick up her windfall. "When I saw I matched three penguins on the game - I realized I won $500,000 and I was shocked!"

"I didn't really believe it was real so I set the ticket aside for a few days while I processed my emotions," Jaspreet continued. "I showed the ticket to my husband, who also had a moment of disbelief."

Jaspreet plans to pay some bills and put some of her win aside for her children's education.

"It's a wonderful feeling. I'm speechless," she concluded.
