Toronto, ON – Daniel Gruba of Hamilton won a $500,000 top prize with INSTANT $500,000 JACKPOT (Game #2422).

Daniel, who works in construction, is a regular lottery player with OLG who enjoys playing INSTANT games. He is now celebrating his first big win. “I was at home, brewing a cup of coffee before work, when I decided to play my ticket,” he shared while at the OLG Prize Centre in Toronto to pick up his windfall. “I matched the LUCKY NUMBER and was shocked to see I had won! I must have checked that ticket a thousand times,” he laughed.

“Everyone I’ve told has been so happy for me. It’s a good feeling! I never expected this, not in a half million years,” he smiled.

Daniel plans to invest his winnings and maybe upgrade his vehicle.

INSTANT $500,000 JACKPOT is available for $10 a play and the top prize is $500,000. Odds of winning any prize are 1 in 3.70.

The winning ticket was purchased at Busy Bee Food Mart on Upper Wellington Street in Hamilton.
