TORONTO, ON – Damien Vanderzande-Fergus of Arden is $77,777 richer after winning with INSTANT TRIPLING RED 7S (Game #2186).
While out one day with his aunt and cousin, Damien decided to pick up a couple of INSTANT tickets. “I only played this game once before,” he shared, while at the OLG Prize Centre in Toronto to collect his cheque.
After playing his ticket in the car, the 23-year-old recalled his reaction. “I looked down and calmly said, ‘I won.’ My cousin didn’t believe me until I showed her the ticket. I knew it was real from the very beginning – it was everyone else who didn’t believe it!” he laughed.
Damien received advice from friends and family on what to do with his winnings. “I’ve been told to invest. Beyond that, I don’t know exactly what to do with it. Maybe I’ll buy a car. The fun part of winning is deciding how to spend it,” he concluded.
