TRENTON RESIDENT CELEBRATING $1 MILLION LOTTARIO JACKPOT WIN

TORONTO, ON Timothy Annett of Trenton won “Ontario’s jackpot” – $1,032,525.40 in the April 13, 2024 LOTTARIO draw.

Timothy, who works as a material handler, says he typically picks up a LOTTARIO ticket when the jackpot is high. "I considered picking up a LOTTARIO ticket while at the store but decided against it because I noticed the jackpot had recently been won,” he shared while at the OLG Prize Centre in Toronto to collect his winnings.

"I went back out to my car and noticed I already had a LOTTARIO ticket in my centre console. I scanned the ticket on the OLG app, and I was shocked! I couldn’t believe that it was my ticket that had won the jackpot! I walked back into the store in a daze. It was a wonderfully chaotic experience!”

He concluded by sharing how it felt to experience his first big win. “I was shaking, and my mind was racing. I was immediately struck by what this win means for me. I feel so much gratitude and I am so thankful for this blessing!”

Timothy plans to purchase a house as well as travel and experience adventures all over the world.

LOTTARIO launched in 1978 as Ontario’s first terminal lotto game. Tickets are $1 and the draws take place every Saturday. Tickets purchased before 10:30 p.m. on Fridays are eligible for the Early Bird draw. Visit the LOTTARIO page on OLG.ca for more information.

The winning ticket was purchased at The Round Hill Gas Station on Highway 33 in Trenton.
