TIMMINS RESIDENT CELEBRATING $631,875 LOTTARIO JACKPOT

TORONTO, ONChak Man Chow of Timmins won “Ontario’s jackpot” – $631,875.50 in the September 10, 2022 LOTTARIO draw.

Chak Man, 52, said he’s been a regular lottery player for over 20 years. “When I scanned my ticket on the OLG App, I thought it said $631 at first. When I re-read the number, I realized it said $631,875.50. I was so happy and excited!” he shared while at the OLG Prize Centre in Toronto to pick up his big cheque.

Chak Man said he shared his news with his brother and sister first, who were very happy for him. “I feel happiness,” he said.

He’s still thinking about what to do with his winnings.

OLG is booking in-person prize claim appointments at the OLG Prize Centre in Toronto. We strongly encourage those with claims between $1,000 and $49,999.90 to submit them online or mail them in. Submitting claims online is fast and secure. Customers with prizes over $50,000 are asked to call 1-800-387-0098 to discuss available prize claim options.

LOTTARIO launched in 1978 as Ontario’s first terminal lotto game. Tickets are $1 and the draws take place every Saturday. Tickets purchased before 10:30 p.m. on Fridays are eligible for the Early Bird draw. Visit the LOTTARIO page on OLG.ca for more information.

The winning ticket was purchased at 6/49 Mega Convenience on Steeles Avenue in Scarborough.
