TORONTO, ON – It was a big hit for Richard Colazio of Pickering when he matched 12 of 12 winning numbers to win $250,000 with HIT OR MISS (May 17, 2021). He also won an additional $2 on another HIT OR MISS draw, bringing his total winnings to $250,002.
Rick, a 53-year-old married father said he watched the draws live and had a couple small wins on previous draws. “I was hoping to win $500 when I matched 11 numbers – when I hit all 12, I knew right away what I won!” he shared, while at the OLG Prize Centre to collect his winnings.
Rick sent a screen shot of his win to his wife and daughter. “They were so happy for me!”
He plans to purchase a cottage with his winnings.
In accordance with government-issued lockdown measures to help prevent the spread of COVID-19, OLG is currently limiting the number of in-person prize claim appointments at the OLG Prize Centre in Toronto to only those that require a face-to-face interview. Customers with prizes over $50,000 are asked to call 1-800-387-0098 to discuss available prize claim options. Prize claims up to $49,999.90 should continue to be submitted by mail. The health and safety of our customers and employees remains our top priority and OLG looks forward to providing future updates on the availability of in-person prize claims.
The winning ticket was purchased at Pioneer on Taunton Road in Oshawa.
