PETERBOROUGH RESIDENT DREAMING BIG WITH A $1 MILLION LOTTO MAX MAXMILLIONS WIN
Toronto, ON – The LOTTO MAX odds have shone in favour of Jill Artibello of Peterborough! She won a MAXMILLIONS prize worth $1 million in the June 7, 2022 LOTTO MAX draw.
Jill, a retiree, says she has been playing the lottery since LOTTO MAX launched. "I always play Quick Pick and this is my first big win," she shared while at the OLG Prize Centre in Toronto to pick up her winnings.
The avid sewer and crafter said she checked her tickets at home when she discovered she won big. "I kept looking and double checking the numbers online. I just couldn't believe it," she said. "I told my sister and she said, 'Stop –you're lying!'" she laughed.
Jill plans to share her win with family. "I will share with my sister, nieces and nephews and my good friend. I will also enjoy a more comfortable retirement and do some work around the house."
"I'm so happy. I never dreamed I would win," she smiled.
