OSHAWA RESIDENT’S DREAMS ARE NOW DREAMIER WITH A $1 MILLION LOTTO MAX MAXMILLIONS WIN

Toronto, ON – The LOTTO MAX odds have shone in favour for Nadezda Calderone of Oshawa! She won a MAXMILLIONS prize worth $1 million in the June 21, 2022 LOTTO MAX draw.

Nadezda, a 53-year-old mother, says she has been playing the lottery occasionally for a couple of years. "I started playing because I was influenced by my husband," she shared while at the OLG Prize Centre in Toronto to pick up her cheque.

Nadezda was at home when her husband checked her ticket using the OLG App. "I heard him screaming so I went to see what was happening and I gasped when I saw his phone screen. I couldn't believe it," she said. "We ran to the store together and the clerk was shocked too. He had tears in his eyes!"

She plans to share this win with her daughters. "I want to set them up for their future and education. I also want to plan a trip to California with them," she smiled.

"I am so overwhelmed. It's a dream come true!"

OLG is booking in-person prize claim appointments at the OLG Prize Centre in Toronto. We strongly encourage those with claims between $1,000 and $49,999.90 to submit them online or mail them in.
