OLG ESTABLISHES CPA TRAINING OFFICE

TORONTO/SAULT STE MARIE, ON – In partnership with the Chartered Professional Accountants of Ontario (CPA Ontario), OLG is launching a CPA Training Office at its corporate headquarters in Sault Ste. Marie.

Through the office, university graduates registered in the CPA designation program will have the opportunity to earn practical qualifications while working toward their designation. Candidates will receive on-the-job mentoring and support from senior finance leaders, while rotating through different business areas.

Students will benefit by gaining on-the-job experience, have support during the exam process and receive mentorship from experienced CPAs at OLG. Program participants will work with finance professionals with varied backgrounds, designations and education, making this an ideal opportunity to receive mentorship and get support during the exam process.

Selected students will participate in a 30-month program; 18 months will be spent in External Reporting and 12 months in Financial Planning & Analysis. Establishing a CPA Training Office supports OLG’s commitment to Sault Ste. Marie.
