Audie says he thought his phone was acting up after checking his ticket on the OLG App. "I couldn't believe my eyes when I saw the $1 million prize amount. I thought there was something wrong with the app, so I asked Maria to confirm the win," he shared while at the OLG Prize Centre in Toronto to collect the big win.

"I just couldn't believe it," Maria added. "I feel excited and happy. I am so thankful."

The couple plans to put their win in the bank until they decide their next steps. "We want to think this over and make sure that not a penny is wasted," Maria concluded.

LOTTO 6/49 offers players a chance to win two multi-million dollar jackpots every Wednesday and Saturday, for the same $3 per play.
