MISSISSAUGA RESIDENT WINS $1 MILLION ON LOTTO 6/49 GOLD BALL DRAW
Toronto, ON – Bart Rason of Mississauga can “find his possible” after winning a LOTTO 6/49 prize worth $1 million in the Gold Ball Draw on October 8, 2022.
Bart, a 60-year-old handyman, said when he scanned his ticket on the OLG App and saw that he won $1 million, he assumed he wasn’t seeing things correctly. “I scanned it a few more times and then realized that I wasn’t imagining things. I was calm but grateful,” he shared while at the OLG Prize Centre in Toronto to pick up his windfall. “I called my wife over from the other room and asked her if she was seeing what I was seeing.”
He plans to put his win directly into the bank for now. “I will take my time to decide what to do with this win. I will be careful how I spend or invest this in the future. I am so thankful for this win,” he concluded.
LOTTO 6/49 offers players a chance to win two multi-million dollar jackpots every Wednesday and Saturday, for the same $3 per play.
The Classic Draw offers a fixed $5 million jackpot for every draw, while the Gold Ball Draw guarantees a $1 million prize, or the growing jackpot that starts at $10 million and can exceed $60 million. Click here for more information about the new LOTTO 6/49.
