HAMILTON RESIDENT WINS $250,000 TOP PRIZE WITH INSTANT TURBO
TORONTO, ON – Jeffrey Leek of Hamilton is $250,000 richer after winning the top prize with INSTANT TURBO (Game #2301).
Jeffrey, who works in the automotive industry, said he’s been a regular lottery player since he was 19. “I picked up this ticket at a store I never go to in a different area of town,” he shared while at the OLG Prize Centre in Toronto to pick up his winnings.
The 48-year-old father said he was waiting for his wife while playing his ticket and thought he won $250 at first. “When I took a closer look and saw all the zeros, I was shocked!” he said. “I texted my wife and told her we just won $250,000 and she didn’t believe me.”
Jeffrey and his wife went to the store together to validate the ticket next. “It was awesome, we had our arms around each other with big smiles. It was an amazing moment for us.”
He plans to pay some bills, invest for retirement, and celebrate with a trip to Barbados with his wife.
