EMBRUN RESIDENT WINS $250,000 WITH INSTANT CROSSWORD DELUXE

Toronto, ON – Bracket, fog and kit were only some of the words that Lyne Carmichael of Embrun revealed on her INSTANT CROSSWORD DELUXE (Game #2216) ticket to win a $250,000 top prize.

Lyne said she is a regular lottery player and enjoys playing INSTANTS because they are an entertaining way to pass the time. “They have a bit of a challenge to them,” she shared while at the OLG Prize Centre in Toronto to pick up her winnings.

The married public servant was at home with dinner in the oven while she was scratching her ticket. “I had so many words and thought I scratched an extra letter. When I pulled out my phone and scanned the ticket and saw ‘Big Winner’ I was in shock!”

After Lyne shared the news with her family they all celebrated and then ate dinner. “I don’t even remember eating – I was still floating!” she laughed.

Lyne plans to invest her winnings for the future and retirement. “We’ll take a trip as soon as we can travel – somewhere warm in the sun!”
