TORONTO, ON – Roberto Ricciuti of Woodbridge is $250,000 richer after winning with INSTANT DOUBLE DIAMOND (Game #2189).
Roberto, a 45-year-old construction worker, was at the gas station when he decided to check his ticket. "I knew I won but I didn't know the amount yet," he shared, while at the OLG Prize Centre in Toronto to pick up his cheque. "When I saw $250,000, I thought it was a mistake! The store clerk was so happy for me."
Driving home with his winning ticket in hand, Roberto thought, “I’m looking at $250,000. This is what $250,000 looks like.”
Roberto plans to pay some bills and share his win with family. “I’ll also use some to fund my upcoming wedding and travel when it’s safe. The rest will be put away for a rainy day.”
