Toronto, ON – Maria-Anna Tarantino of King City can realize her dreams after winning a $1 million MAXMILLIONS prize in the August 13, 2024 LOTTO MAX draw.

Maria-Anna, a mother and grandmother, enjoys playing LOTTO MAX and typically sticks with the same numbers for each draw. She has won modest prizes over the years, but her numbers now have her celebrating a big win and the joy of becoming a millionaire!

“I was out shopping when I remembered to check my tickets. I had four to check and one ended up being a big winner,” Maria-Anna recalled, while visiting the OLG Prize Centre in Toronto to pick up her windfall. “I was in shock and ran straight home to call my son. I was in a bit of a panic, but once I spoke with him and he assured me it was real, I was thrilled!”

“Winning is a great feeling. I am not only blessed by this prize, but also with an incredible family that supports me,” Maria-Anna concluded.

Maria-Anna looks forward to sharing her winnings with family and traveling with her grandchildren.

The winning ticket was purchased at King Cigar Plus on Yonge Street in Richmond Hill.
