July is one of the most exciting times of the year for horse racing in Ontario. This year, summer kicks off in style with the 156^th annual Queen’s Plate, taking place on July 5 at Woodbine Racetrack. The Queen’s Plate is Canada’s premiere thoroughbred race and the oldest of its kind in the country. It is the first race in the Canadian Triple Crown and attracts fans, industry and some of the best headwear from across North America.
