$1 TURNS INTO $100,000: BRAMPTON FATHER CELEBRATES $100,000 ENCORE WIN

TORONTO, ON – Saying “yes” to ENCORE paid off for Terry Walters of Brampton. Terry matched the last six of seven ENCORE numbers in exact order in the April 21, 2020 LOTTO MAX draw to win $100,000!

Terry, a 34-year-old married father, says he’s a regular LOTTO MAX and LOTTO 6/49 player. “I always play ENCORE,” he shared while at the OLG Prize Centre in Toronto to pick up his winnings.

“I was just having a conversation with my brother-in-law about what we would do if we won the lottery. On my way home I stopped for gas and checked my tickets – that’s when I saw the Big Winner message on the screen!”

The tire repair worker said after the initial shock settled, he called his brother-in-law. “I said, remember what we just talked about? Well, it happened and it’s not a dream!”

Terry doesn’t have immediate plans for his winnings but plans to spend it cautiously. “This is beautiful. I got quite the payday today,” he laughed.

OLG is now accepting in-person prize claims by-appointment only for customers with prizes of $1,000 or more who wish to claim at the OLG Prize Centre. The winning ticket was purchased at Petro Canada on Sandalwood Parkway in Brampton.
